Ikon Pass Sale 2026-2027

By purchasing with Outside Life, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Promo Codes:

Your promo code is tied to your name and birthdate. It cannot be shared or transferred to anyone else. Only YOU can use your promo code.
If you share your code with anyone, you will not receive a refund.

SheerID Verification:

You must use your own SheerID information when applying for the college pass. Your name and birthday are then tied to your promo code, and you must redeem your code under your name and information
If you use someone else’s SheerID information, your account will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund.

Pass Pricing & Payments:

Ikon Pass prices increase incrementally throughout the year at dates and amounts set by Alterra Mountain Company. Your price is only locked in if:

Payment Disputes:

If you dispute your pass, it will be voided immediately.
To reinstate your pass, you must reverse the dispute and pay a $100 reinstatement fee.

Cancellation & Refunds:

You may cancel your pass at any time as long as you have not paid in full. You will receive a refund, minus a $25 non-refundable deposit fee, as long as you have not completed the full payment.
After December 1, 2026: Refunds of any kind are not available.
Once you have paid in full and your pass has been processed through the Ikon Pass system, Outside Life is not able to refund any amount. The pass is non-refundable or transferable.

Pass Deferral (26/27 Season):

The deferral option has been discontinued by Alterra Mountain Company for the 26/27 Season
People who have deferred their 25/26 pass will have a credit in their IkonPass.com account. All credits must be used by 12/10/26, or they will expire

Promo Code Availability:

Promo codes are not guaranteed before November 1, 2026.
If paid in full, you may request early access via ikonpass@outsidelife.com (processing time is 3-5 business days).

Physical Pass & Shipping:

(Ikon Pass Default Option) Reuse last year’s physical pass
(Opt-In) Request a newly printed pass at code redemption. You can only make this choice at the time of redemption.

Lost your pass? Contact Alterra directly.
Alternative Pickup: After redeeming your code, you can pick up your Ikon Pass at any North American Alterra Resort lift ticket window.

SPOT Insurance Options:

SPOT Injury Insurance is available for purchase through Alterra Mountain Company.
Injury Insurance can be added when redeeming your code on your Ikon Profile

Payment Processing & Privacy:

A third-party gateway processes payment transactions and is subject to its own privacy policies.

Price Increases & Payment Conditions:

Après Ski Season Pass:

The Après Ski Season Pass provides pass holders with exclusive invitations and eligibility to attend all Après Ski events hosted by Outside Life during the applicable season.
Purchase of the pass does not guarantee attendance at any specific event. Event dates, locations, and availability may vary and may not align with an individual pass holder’s schedule, travel preferences, or proximity.
Outside Life guarantees that pass holders will receive invitations and the opportunity to attend eligible events, subject to event capacity, scheduling, and other logistical considerations.
Pass holders are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and related expenses associated with attending events unless otherwise explicitly stated.
Outside Life reserves the right to modify event schedules, locations, or programming, and to add or cancel events as necessary.
Outside Life reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with event guidelines, without refund.

Cancellation and Refunds:

If your Ikon Pass purchase is canceled, refunded, or not fully paid, your Après Ski Season Pass will automatically be canceled and is non-refundable.
If the Après Ski Season Pass is purchased together with an Ikon Pass and paid in full, the Après Ski Season Pass may be canceled and refunded until October 8, 2026.
After October 8, 2026, the Après Ski Season Pass is non-cancellable and non-refundable, regardless of changes to personal schedule, travel ability, or event attendance.
The Après Ski Season Pass is non-transferable and may not be deferred or rolled over to future seasons.
